Wild Grace is the untamed divine love in nature, animals, and human creativity that heals through beauty, kindness, and connection.Watch our livestream (though nothing much happens and it's not always on :-) )
Come for a day to ground yourself and be with the animals. Book a retreat weekend. Stay for a week and help care for the sanctuary. Or support the animals and land with a donation.
Our Programs
Wild Grace brings together three connected practices: caring for animals, tending the land, and making space for creativity. Each one supports the others. Together, they create a place where healing happens through daily care, direct experience, and creative practice.
Our 17 beloved rescue cats and dog are co-participants here. Daily sanctuary operations for the resident cats and dog. Each animal is known individually — health monitored, behavior observed, care adjusted. This program runs every day regardless of anything else happening at WGS. It is the foundation. Current status: fully operational, daily
Creative practices — writing, music, play, and improvisation — taught as life skills, not performance skills. Improvisation trains real-time observation and response. Writing processes emotion through narrative and metaphor. Music and play access states that verbal processing cannot reach. Current status: the skills and experience are deep and proven across decades. Formal WGS programming is in development.
Stewardship of 18 acres using permaculture principles — observe before acting, work with existing systems, small and slow solutions, integrate rather than segregate. Includes maintenance of a dedicated grounding area with clean grass for barefoot earth contact. Current status: land maintained, grounding area in development, permaculture knowledge building. Full implementation requires additional expertise and hands.
